Underwater Photography Azores Challenge
Compete in the first UPA Challenge (Underwater Photography Azores Challenge). The challenge consists of three individual photography competitions with over $17,000 in prize money to be given out. XVIII National FotoSub This annual national competition consists of 20 diving teams consisting of one photographer and one model. 1st International Azorean Underwater Photography Open Open to photographers of all nationalities. 1st Underwater Photography Macaronesian Championship Promoting a cultural / touristic interchange through underwater photography between the archipelagos of the Azores, Madeira, Canaries and Cape Verde. The UPA Challenge will take place between August 29th and September 5th, 2009 on the Island of São Miguel in the Azores Islands, Portugal. Visit Clube Naval de Ponta Delgada for more information.
