2013 marks the 35th year in our family company's history. Prospering in the outdoor specialty market as a specialty products manufacturer for 35 years has proven to be a challenge filled with good friends and good times. Our roots as a manufacturer began in 1978, when our founder, Emil Stahl, answered a need to find a better way to make luggage. His skill and innovative manufacturing methods earned the trust of many early company's in the outdoor industry. Our attention to detail on every level allowed us to put our special touch on products we manufactured under private label from company's ranging from L.L. Bean daypacks to Patagonia soft luggage to briefcases for Tumi. While all of the private label work was progressing, a personal passion of John and Jim Stahl evolved into the Stahlsac Submariner line of adventure diving luggage. A complete line of quality travel products designed around and for the ocean environment has placed us in the unique position of offering totally unique products made of exceptional quality standards. There are few stages in the world that demand so much from equipment used in it. Salt spray, intense U/V, luggage designed to transport life support equipment to remote locations around the world, baggage handlers... need we say more!!
