A multimedia journalist and a mermaid. Jamil loves to combine her two passions: Visual storytelling and the salt life. She’s been a TV reporter for than 10 years and an ocean lover since birth. She was the captain of her high school water polo and swim team. Being underwater is where Jamil truly feels at peace. The graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication has numerous awards in local news in five different states, including her work in environmental journalism and investigations.
