Rebreather Forum 3

Rebreather Forum 3 was a landmark gathering of the tribes held May 18-20 in Orlando, Florida. With presentations, product demos, forums and other events, it was a chance for all the stakeholders involved in rebreather diving — the equipment manufacturers, the training organizations and passionate users — to come together to determine the future of the sport -- and have one helluva good time.

“By the time I had several hundred hours on a rebreather, I realized I knew nothing.” Jill Heinerth, RF3 presenter

“As a hyperbaric doctor, I’d treat a decompression emergency the same way if you had a rebreather on your back or a scuba tank” Dr. Nick Bird, DAN

“Communication is critical when you’re traveling [with dive gear]. Remain calm and ask for a supervisor if you feel you’re not getting the customer service you deserve.” Keith Jefferies, Transportation Security Administration

“We’re a cool tribe because we get to do really cool shit.” Michael Menduno, RF3 presenter
