ScubaLab Mask Tests 2011: Tilos Hawk Eyes

Tilos Hawk Eyes

Jon Whittle/ Carrie Garcia

Tilos Hawk Eyes
The larger, two-window styling of the Hawk Eyes is designed to increase downward vision, and its combined FOV vertical score was among the best in this group of masks. Testers found the Hawk Eyes comfortable, with a soft, pliable silicone skirt. The mask was easy to clear and equalize, and testers liked the optional E-Band strap. This patented device sets the adjustment features of the strap squarely in the back of the head, where it rests on a comfortable, hard-plastic band. Available for an additional $5, the band made this the easiest adjusting of all masks.
