ScubaLab Mask Tests 2011: Sherwood Scuba Allure
Sherwood Scuba Allure
Long one of Sherwood Scuba’s most popular masks, the low-volume Allure is designed to provide a large volume of ambient light through the clarity of the silicone. The quick-adjust buckles are attached directly to the skirt, and were quick and easy to manipulate. Testers felt the silicone was in between soft and firm, and they were impressed with the ease of clearing. The Allure’s combined vertical FOV and horizontal scores were the best of all masks in this test. Testers especially liked the raised contact points along the frame, making for a sure grip when clearing.
