Set among lush landscape, Beqa Lagoon Resort delights visitors with Fijian hospitality above water and stunning reefscapes below. This intimate, boutique-style resort has accommodation options to meet your preferences, whether you opt for an oceanview suite, koi pond or garden bure. All rooms are air-conditioned and decorated with traditional Fijian decor. Many Beqa Lagoon bures include your own private plunge pool, making it easy to relax after a day of diving.

With many unique dive sites surrounding the resort, there is no shortage of opportunities to descend. Both beginner and advanced divers will find something to love. A snorkel-friendly house reef makes for a convenient night dive, and other frequented sites range from 15-foot shallows to 100-foot wall dives. Fantasea is a photographer's dream, with large, colorful gorgonian sea fans and soft corals. There’s even a few wrecks to be explored at John’s Tunnel and Carpet Cove. But there’s one site that has divers traveling from around the world to experience—Cathedral. Observe up to eight species of shark at this site, including bull sharks and tiger sharks. Feel the simultaneous adrenaline and peace as you find yourself face to face with these apex predators. It’s unlike any site you’ve dived before and a must-dive when visiting.

The Beqa Lagoon Resort staff believe that by leading these shark dives, they will help dispel myths about sharks and raise awareness of their importance in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. The popularity of Cathedral has prompted the resort to begin work on a secondary shark dive site.

Beqa Lagoon Resort is dedicated to establishing an eco-friendly footprint, which includes supporting various marine conservation projects. As they set out to focus on coral restoration, they have partnered with the Pacific Blue Foundation to plant over 50 star reef frames with coral colonies. The long-term plan is to include guest participation in the process, similar to their already established crown-of-thorns starfish removal efforts.
